Jake Berry is a poet, musician, and visual artist. The single volume edition of the first three books of his long work Brambu Drezi was published by Barrytown/Station Hill in 2006. Other books include Species of Abandoned Light, The Pandemonium Spirit, War Poems / Blood Paradoxes. Silence and the Hammer (with photographer Wayne Sides) and numerous other titles. As songwriter and musician he has released eight solo albums, the most recent Liminal Blue appeared in 2008. He is also a member of the folk music ensemble Bare Knuckles, the ambient experimental group Ascension Brothers and a compositional collaborative with the composer Jukka-Pekka Kervinen under the name Catachthonia. He lives with his wife and three cats in Florence, Alabama.

Jeffrey Side studied English at Liverpool University and Leeds University, and has had poetry published in various magazines and on poetry websites such as 9th St. Laboratories, Underground Window, A Little Poetry, Poethia, Nthposition, Eratio, Ancient Heart, Blazevox, Lily, Big Bridge, Jacket, Textimagepoem, Apochryphaltext, Pirene’s Fountain, Moria, P.F.S. Post, Great Works, Hutt, Ken*again, Poets’ Corner, The Dande Review, Poetry Bay, Dusie and CybpherAnthology. He has reviewed poetry for The Colorado Review, New Hope International, Stride, Acumen and Shearsman. From 1996 to 2000 he was the assistant editor of The Argotist magazine, and now edits The Argotist Online. He has published two books of poetry: Carrier of the Seed (Blazevox) and Slimvol (cPress).
